Jeremy Wagner, Frenship ISD, Region 17 2013 Secondary Teacher of the Year |
Jeremy Wagner has had a lot of inspiration to become the teacher he is today. He is third in a line of teachers in his family and continues to do everything he can to inspire students to go further than they thought possible. Growing up, his main goal in life was to save the world. To achieve this goal, he decided to become a teacher and lives by the motto that all students can, and should learn regardless of the circumstances. Additionally, he works diligently to inspire other educators to strive to go above and beyond. Jeremy has taught for 5 years, all of them in Region 17 at Frenship ISD as an 8th grade science teacher. He graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Multidisciplinary Studies including Math and Science (2007). He also holds a Master's of Science in Math, Science, and Engineering Integration from Texas Tech (2012), and will complete his studies in Teacher Leadership through Lamar University in August 2012. He has an amazing wife and three year old daughter who he loves to spend his time with when he isn't in the classroom or working with other teachers. |
