1. How do I sign up for an account?

You can sign up for an account by clicking "create an account" on the bar underneath "Find a workshop..."

When you create an account, you must have a valid and unique email address. If you do not have an email account, you can sign up for a free email account on the web.

The following sites provide free email accounts, however there are many more available on the internet for you to choose from:

Hotmail

FastMail

AOL Free Email (AIM Email)

2. Why can't I sign up for a workshop?

If you are unable to sign up for a workshop it could be for the following reasons:

1. Coops ESC-17 wants to provide the highest level of training to school districts in our region. Some workshops require that your district is a member of a coop. Coop members receive access to training that is designed for specialized areas. If your school district is not a member of a coop, you will get a pop-up box that will indicate that you are not a member.

2. Registration is Full The training you try to register for is full. If you see this happen, check online at a later date and look for the chance that a slot will open up from a cancellation.

3. Registration Deadline Some workshops have a registration deadline. This would require that a participant sign up before a certain date.

3. How do I cancel my registration for a workshop?

You can cancel your registration by clicking "My Account Info" and then "View My Workshops". You will then see the workshops that you have cancelled for or registered for in the past.

If a workshop has not passed the registration deadline, you will be able to cancel your registration.

The "Cancel" option will show up underneath the "Action" heading on the screen. If it is not available, you cannot cancel your registration for a workshop without notifying escitesupport@esc17.net or contacting the registrar/contact person associated with the workshop.

Any workshop that you sign up for and do not show up will continue to show as registered. Any workshop you cancel will show up as cancelled.

4. I cannot find a workshop for my audience.

ESC-17 provides workshops for a variety of audiences. Audiences are usually defined by content areas and positions.

If you are not able to find anything for your particular audience, it could be that ESC-17 is not providing workshops in those categories at this time.

5. I cannot find my certificate or transcript.

After you login, click "My Account Info". Next, click "View My Transcript". You will then be able to view all the workshops that you have attended and the credit hours.Click "Print" to get a printed out version of your transcripts.

You can also print your certificates. Click "Print Certificate" by the workshop that you would like to print the certificate.

6. What workshops am I registered for?

You can view the workshops you are registered for by clicking "My Account Info". Click "View My Workshops". This will show you the list of workshops that you are currently registered for as well as the workshops that you have cancelled in the past.

After you have attended a workshop, it will show up on your transcript. If you cancel a workshop or fail to attend a workshop without canceling your registration you will continue to see the workshop under this section of the website.

7. What do I do if I can't remember my password?

1) Go to http://escite2.esc17.net/

2) Enter your email address and click "I can't remember my password"

3) Answer your security question and enter and confirm your password
