Region 17 ESC will host the annual educator job fair on Friday, June 7, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. in the Conference Center. Don’t miss this opportunity to visit face to face with teacher candidates and school district administrators for job opportunities at West Texas school districts.

The Region 17 ESC and Lubbock ISD are partnering for the 2nd Annual Social Studies Content Extravaganza. This is a two day conference with learning strands for primary, Texas History, World History, U.S. History, and World Geography. Content experts will be brought in from the Southwest to lead several of our learning segments.

The Instructional Coaching Institute will provide a foundation upon which a solid, effective instructional coaching program can be built. The content of the institute is based on more than eight years of research on instructional coaching conducted by the University of Kansas Center for Research on Learning. Jim Knight is author of several books, including Instructional Coaching and Unmistakable Impact.
