What are OnTRACK Courses? |
OnTRACK for College Readiness lessons supplement classroom instruction and intervention with dynamic learning experiences that use video, graphics, and online activities. OnTRACK lessons are intended to supplement classroom instruction and intervention. While these lessons are organized into Project Share "courses," they do not cover every student expectation in the TEKS for the corresponding SBOE-approved course. Students cannot earn course credit by completing OnTRACK lessons. |

How can I use OnTRACK courses? |
Once a campus or district has used data, such as campus-developed or district-developed benchmark testing, to determine students’ academic strengths and weaknesses, OnTRACK lessons can be used to customize a plan of intervention for students. |

What is the difference between the Teacher Facilitated OnTRACK course and the OnTRACK course/lessons?
The original OnTRACK for College Readiness lessons supplement classroom instruction and intervention but do not cover every student expectation in the TEKS for the corresponding SBOE-approved course. The recently released Teacher Facilitated OnTRACK courses do cover every student expectation as well as include additional TEKS-based lessons, lesson assessments, and unit assessments. A district or open-enrollment charter school may award credit for a Teacher Facilitated OnTRACK course if the district or open-enrollment charter school determines that the student has demonstrated proficiency in all of the TEKS for the course. |
